...We Can Help!'
Covershot by Susan McBratney

"This photo was taken at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures in Cairns. While walking past a seemingly empty enclosure my wife tapped me to point out two eyes looking at us from the pond. The crocodile was incredibly well camouflaged and I managed to snap this photo before he bobbed back down." - Ari Singer

Photo Tips
Night Photography

Photo TipThis month we will focus our lenses squarely on our children. With February comes the beginning of school for some or a return to school for others - an opportune time to consider tips related to photographing children. Let our media school instructors help you get the best results from the photos we take to capture these precious moments in our children's lives.

Try the following technique to get a great child portrait. Always use the camera set at 2x or 3x times zoom as this makes faces look great as well as causing a soft background. Where possible, use a specific portrait lens such as the Canon EF 50mm f1.8 or similar lenses for your brand of digital SLR.
